Message from the Executive Vice President:

Facing intense competition and challenges from both domestic and international universities, only innovation and change can keep up with the times. Our hopes and visions are:

• Creating a free atmosphere and environment to allow faculties and researchers to develop new knowledge, to collaborate with domestic and international industries and academic communities, and to increase NTU’s competitiveness;

• Providing students with diverse and international learning experiences, cultivating their fundamental and professional knowledge, and enhancing their independent thinking ability; and

• Improving administrative processes to enable staff to bravely take on tasks in an environment with the sense of achievement and satisfaction.

In this way, National Taiwan University can not only effectively give back to the society for its long-term support and expectations towards the university but also fulfill its social responsibility to genuinely become a university that can contribute to the universe.
